Washing and storage tips;
I recommend washing at 30 degrees for environmental reasons but all items can be washed at 40 degrees.
I suggest using an environmentally friendly washing powder, I prefer to use soap nuts which I find to be more effective with our very hard water and less expensive then other eco-friendly washing systems. For the stubborn stains such as spaghetti bolognese on white fabric direct sunlight bleaches out the orange stains.
With the organic-fairtrade cotton I suggest avoiding direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
As nearly all the fabrics I use are 100% cotton ironing should be straight forward. One or two fabrics are vintage and the fabric content is sometimes unknown but a warning should be on the label and a cooler iron setting used as a precaution.
